Yarn Wrapped Candles - Fall DIY

Nov 15, 2018 0 comments

This 5-minute craft will turn your basic flameless candles to cozy-looking perfect for fall candles. You can now put your yarn (or any other type of string) lying around to good use.

Battery operated candles are the perfect option for this DIY. Why? Since there is no flame, there is no need to worry about the yarn burning off. (NOTE: Please do not try this with traditional candles).

The yarn and strings used on this project are leftovers from other projects. Just let your creativity flow. You can customize this whichever way you want; from the placing of the yarn, the color, the material. You can even cover the whole candle!

  • LED Lytes Flameless Candles (preferably the ones with a smooth surface)

  • Yarn or any kind of string

  • Scissors

  • Hot glue gun (in our case tape)

  1. Gather your materials.

  2. Figure out where you want the yarn to go.

  3. Glue it into place!

    • Use a piece of tape to secure the yarn so that you won't ruin the wax. You can remove the yarn and replace it with another color for another season.

Here are some of our finished candles:
